The PROMAX Premier US456, 4 flute square end, high performance end mill was designed to run at high feeds and speeds specifically in Inconel and Titanium applications. It has also proven good in other High Temperature Alloys. This finishing end mill has been adapted for “roughing-like” applications. However, its combination of an unequal index with a 35°/38° variable helix, tremendously reduces vibration and create a smoother, faster cutting process which leaves behind a better surface finish. It also comes standard with the PROMAX "edge prep" that helps to increase tool life while giving better performance. The final components that makes this PROMAX end mill stand out above the others is its standard small protective corner radius and optimized ZrN or nACRo® coating which reduces cutting forces.
