ROUGHING APPLICATIONS
Series 101 Roughing End Mills are designed for space
age exotic materials, like titanium & nickel based/high
temperature alloys (inconel, rene, wasploy, etc). Its hi-helix
& fine profile geometry reduces tool pressure & generates
less heat while allowing heavier cuts at increased feed rates.
Series
102 Roughing End Mills are designed for light materials
like aluminum, brass, copper, etc. The 3 flute hi-helix roughing
geometry produces a manageable chip that gives maximum feed
rates in profiling & slotting applications. Also used
in general purpose applications for deep slots. The form relief
of both Series creates a smoother running tool.
