Roughing – Finishing End Mills

PROMAX Rougher-Finishers bridge the gap between full roughing and finishing applications. Part roughing end mills and part finishing end mills, our Rougher-Finishers are finishing end mills with chip breakers on the cutting edge. These solid carbide end mills are able to remove large portions of metal like roughing end mills yet leave an exceptional part surface finish like finishing end mils. Our Rougher-Finishers are designed with an eccentric relief which create a 25% stronger cutting edge while running smoother at maximum speeds. A corner radius is standard for corner edge protection. We also provide a special edge prep on these solid carbide end mills (excluding those designed for cutting Aluminum) allowing you to forgo the tedious and long break in periods needed on most tools. PROMAX Tools offers an assortment of center cutting, solid carbide end mills in variety lengths to fit most slotting and pocketing applications.
